A Port Augusta man remains in a serious but stable condition in the Royal Adelaide Hospital after a hit-and-run incident on Wednesday night last week.
The 34-year-old father was struck by a car in the driveway of the Conroy Street units at about 11.15pm.
He was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with critical injuries.
He has since undergone two major surgeries and remains in a stable condition.
The bloodstained driveway was examined by forensic police with entry to the flats blocked until late Thursday afternoon.
Port Augusta Police relief operations manager Senior Sergeant Russ Morgan said investigation are ongoing.
He said police are appealing to the public for more information about the incident.
“Any person who heard a vehicle, or any sounds of an argument in Conroy Street at about 11.15pm Wednesday night is asked to call the Port Augusta Police on 8648 5020.”
Police have also called on any other people who may have been in the vehicle which hit the man to come forward.
