Dogs demoralise Tigers

08 Feb, 2012 09:28 AM
Central/Stirling is starting to fall out of contention for the race to the grand final.

Their performances in recent times have been wayward, and last Saturday’s hefty defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs put yet another dent in their deteriorating confidence.

Coming off a controversial defeat at the hands of the Hawks in their previous clash, the Bulldogs weren’t stopped by weather this time around as they steam rolled through their opponents’ top order.

Their persistent effort with the new ball rewarded them with the control of the match.

The Bulldogs picked up the early wickets of unlikely opening pair Cameron Edson, who bowled 9 overs in the previous innings, and all-rounder Orson Poole, within 9 overs.
