With the State individual championships looming upon us, many of our athletes are trying that bit harder to achieve the required qualification standards which will entitle them to compete against other athletes from around the State.
The championships are scheduled for Saturday, March 20 and Sunday, March 21 to be held at SANTOS Stadium in Adelaide.
Athletes from the Under 9 to Under 17 age groups are eligible to enter provided that have achieved qualification standards prior to the cut-off date of February 22.
Therefore there is only two weeks left to achieve the necessary times or distances.
This week the conditions were deceivingly hot and humid, making it difficult to get personal bests (PBs), so congratulations must go to those who achieved four and three PBs on Sunday.
