Ellie Packard competed in the Powerade Games held at SANTOS Stadium on the week-end of October 24 and 25.
She ran a time of 5:46.28 in the Under 17 Girls 1500m, and 12:30.55 in the 3000m, receiving bronze medals in both events.
This was an excellent effort – well done Ellie!
On Sunday, with a forecast temperature of 40 degrees, the morning was perfect for athletics, with a slight southerly breeze to keep the athletes cool.
