A SERIES of half-day workshops are being held across South Australia in an effort to offer small businesses knowledge and skills.
Port Augusta will feature in the state government-run tour and organisers are hoping the event will see locals will take up business opportunities, accelerate growth and increase profitability.
Small Business Minister Martin Hamilton-Smith said the workshops are designed to help small businesses operate more effectively by applying key fundamentals across a range of day-to-day operational areas.
“The range of business capability development workshops aim to help small businesses gain the skills and knowledge they need to be (successful),” Minister Hamilton-Smith said.
“The workshops are an important element of the state government’s support for new and established small businesses.”
