Part of Commercial Road, Port Augusta, was closed off after Country Target received a bomb threat at about 8.40am, Tuesday February 14. The threat was made by a man, via a phone call. People inside the store, located at 7/11 Commercial Road, Port Augusta, were evacuated shortly after the threat was made as SA Police attended the scene. Shortly after, people in adjoining businesses on either side of the store were also evacuated. An SA Police Spokesperson said, “At this stage, we believe it was a hoax.”
