CENTRAL Oval was ranked among the elite construction projects of 2015 at a national awards ceremony recently.
The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors named Central Oval as the nation’s best regional project for 2015, putting the facility among other winners including the Adelaide Oval redevelopment and the Port Arthur Penitentiary Precinct Conservation project.
The award winners were recognised for their exceptional contribution to the Australian and global construction industry.
AIQS CEO Grant Warner said the winners reflected the important work of members of the quantity surveyors industry in meeting the challenge to deliver projects on time and to budget.
“Our annual awards celebrate outstanding projects, great people, work and organisations who lead the way in the global construction industry...” Mr Warner said.
“Once again the calibre and talent of our award winners demonstrates the strength of our industry. ”
