Three men have been flown to hospital following a helicopter crash in the state's far north, north east of Hawker this morning.
Police received notification of an EPIRB activation from a helicopter about 11.30am on Sunday 17 July.
The pilot, a 58-year-old man from Adelaide and two passengers aged 38 and 32 from Queensland sustained serious injuries in the crash.
The three men were flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by the Royal Flying Doctor Service with non-life threatening injuries.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
