Detectives from Port Augusta’s Criminal Investigation Branch have arrested a man and a woman following an investigation into illicit drugs.
On Monday, August 27, police – with the assistance of the Dog Operations Unit – searched a property in Stirling North and uncovered over 33 grams of methamphetamine, and $20000 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
A 42-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman both from Stirling North have been charged with trafficking a controlled substance.
The man was refused bail and appeared in court the following day while the woman has been bailed to appear in court on 24 September.
