A 23-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged armed robbery at the Pastoral Hotel on Monday night, September 10.
The Port Augusta man was armed with a knife when he entered the hotel at about 10:40pm with his face covered. He threatened staff, before stealing cash and leaving the scene on foot.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
Local police were led to a nearby house, where the suspect was found and arrested, and the cash was recovered.
The man faces charges of aggravated robbery along with an active warrant, and is set to be refused bail to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 12.
