Easter event egg-citement

The Quorn community is gearing up for a big Easter with a jam-packed events schedule.

The busy events calendar includes markets at three different venues, local ghost stories, bush poetry, Adnyamathanha dreaming stories, as well as a community outdoor cinema night in the Austral Inn car park and an "Airing of the Quilts" exhibition run by regional SA quilters.

Nadine Garrard, owner of the local Austral Inn, has organised many of the events planned for Easter and says there will be something for everyone in Quorn this Easter weekend.

"We decided to plan some additional events this year for the benefit of locals and visitors alike. It's a great opportunity to showcase the great community we have here, and there are a wide variety of activities on offer, so there really will be something for everyone," Mrs Garrard said.

"The special First Street and Austral Inn Pop-Up Market is something new for this year.

"We will be showcasing local wares from our talented artists and craftspeople and there will be a range of locally made products available.

"This will be held in conjunction with the Quorn Produce Market that runs for the four days over Easter in the Town Hall.

"Come and check it out and all Quorn has to offer!" she said.
