Mackenzie Boxall and Abbie Kaulins were the most improved athletes of the 2018/19 season for the Port Augusta and Districts Little Athletics Centre.
Mackenzie won most improved and Abbie was runner up, each having recorded more personal best results than other athletes from our centre.
The club's presentation day was held at West Augusta Football Clubrooms on Sunday April 7.
Awards were presented to athletes in all age groups. Tiny Tots athletes received participation medals, while Under 6 - Under 17 athletes were awarded most improved and runner up most improved trophies, medals and certificates in their age groups.
Athletes who set club records were recognised, as were those who attended State events.
Under 17 athlete Timothy Murphy was fare-welled by the centre, having competed in all seasons since starting in Under 6s.
He is hoping to be able to continue coming along to the club's weekly meets to share the skills he has learnt in the sport with the younger athletes.
The centre's annual general meeting followed, with the 2019/20 committee comprising Blake Packard, Michelle Murphy, Tasma Wagner, Melanie Boxall, Emma Matthiessen, Helen Cox, Jasmin Eckert, Alyce Fels, Emma Davies, Bianca Fricker, Amanda Kaulins.
