With only two rounds remaining before the commencement of the finals, the top four has been finalised those teams all had convincing victories in this round.
RSL Cannons 14 d Travellers Rest Blue 2
Tim Martlew and James Little were undefeated with four wins apiece in their big win over the Blue team, with team-mates Ian Long and Brodie Grantham each winning three of their four frames. Terry McKenzie and Shawn Reid were the only players for the Blue team to take a frame from the winners.
RSL Dynamite 13 d PABC Assassins 3
Bottom placed Assassins managed to tie the third set 2-2 against Dynamite, but this was nowhere near enough to challenge the fourth placed team. Dynamite was led by Clay Weidenbach with four from four and Brenton Schulz, who came off the interchange to win his two frames. Dale Hockey won three from four with Ashley Bemmerl and Brendon Raymond each winning two of their three frames. Norm Smith, Daniel Quigley and Josh Grantham all won a frame to contribute to Assassins' score.
PABC Shooters 14 d Central Red 2
Top team Shooters warmed up for finals action with four of their five players being undefeated in their rout of the Red team. Rob Duke and Jason Boyd won their four frames, with Mick Freeman and Andrew Thorpe each winning the three frames that they played. For the Red team, Mick Barrett and Deane Adams managed to take a frame each from the winners.
Travellers Rest Gunners 12 d South Bulldogs 4
Bulldogs were a trifle disappointing against Gunners, with only two players contributing to their score. Ashley Walters was by far their best player, winning three of his four frames. Andrew Reynolds managed to win a frame from his four attempts. Conversely, the four Gunners representatives were in fine form, with Troy Coe again the standout player, winning his four frames. He was well supported by Anthony Grantham and Tim Allport with three from four and Dave Stirling, who won two of his four frames.
Central Bloods 11 d SNPA Cougars 5
After a tied first set, Bloods exerted their authority on the match to win each of the remaining three sets by 3-1. In an even team performance, Dale Khan, Scott Mackinlay and Brodie Tuip won three of their four frames, with Joe Langford contributing two from four. Cougars were best served by Bradley McKenzie and Rhys Bavington with two wins each from their four frames, while Dylan Baker came off the interchange bench to win the other frame.
