A GRADE: St Josephs goal keeper Courtney Webb will battle it out in the cirlce against Railways shooter Jaedina-Rose Venning.

To win the prestigious A Grade Port Augusta Netball Premiership Shield both St Josephs and Railways need to bring their best game to the court.

All season St Josephs and Railways have competitively made it clear of their thirst to win games with the objective to claim another premiership to add to their club's collection.

Both teams have skilled players at peak fitness and performance level.

The game will be loaded with strategic coaching, velocity, tenacity, determination, and physical contesting for possessions.

Expect hustle and bustle activity in the goal circles.

St Josephs Taylor-Lee Breen and Courtney Webb will as always focus on minimising the controlling ownership Railways goal attack Claire Schupelius has in the goal third and circle.

The defending duo will also be conscious of the slippery moves Jaedina -Rose Venning takes along the goal circle baseline.

The biggest threat facing St Josephs defenders is the look-away pass that Railways centre player Mikala Fuller achieves when passing to Schupelius and Venning in the goal circle.

M Fuller will also cause havoc in the midcourt but will it have any effect on her opposition player Leah Carling who has been the anchor player along with Amy Green in St Josephs midcourt?

The fast pace that the teams generate can get out of control.

Railways have Laurie Haynes, M Fuller and Brynn Byron-Boles that chase down wayward passes and opening up court space for turn-over play as does St Josephs Ebony Butler, Green and Carling.

The midcourt action will be electrifying just as it has been all season.

Railways goal defenders Peyton Fuller and Lily Fullerton have the height to out-position St Josephs goalies Amanda Horner and Lucy Janiak for rebounds.

P Fuller also chases the interception of opposition passes outside the goal circle.

Such bold moves are a gamble to leave the goal circle open for goalies to take advantage. Janiak is in superb form.

It is going to be important for the goalies of both teams to net goals at 80-90 per cent accuracy. It is a grand final game and goals win games.

St Josephs having finished top of the leader board are favourites for the premiership.

It will be a close game exhibiting the best of the best netball teams striving for the 2019 A Grade Premiership.

Can Railways topple St Josephs dominance?

St Josephs will face off against Railways at 5pm on court 1 of the Central Oval Complex.
