Interesting season ahead

THURSDAY PENNANT COMPETITION

October 3

The Thursday Pennant competition had a tricky first round, with two games abandoned due to the wind and dust at the Whyalla Golf Bowling Club.

However these games have been completed, and now at the end of round three there are two teams on 28 points, ETSA Gold and Golf Blue, followed by Port Augusta Pink on 27 and Port Augusta Maroon on 26.

Results for round three were Golf Blue 49 defeated ETSA Gold 32; Port Augusta Maroon 45 defeated ETSA Blue 37; Golf White 34 defeated Port Augusta Purple 32; Port Augusta Pink 36 defeated Golf Red 34.

With some very close scores, it looks like there should be an interesting season ahead.
