Birds SA Meeting

Birds SA is travelling to Port Augusta and will hold their monthly Meeting in town. Guest speaker John Read who is an ecologist and author, passionate about informed and pragmatic approaches to environmental and animal welfare issues will be talking. 1.30pm to 4pm at the Standpipe Motel.

Sat/Sun, Sept 11 & 12

Show on the Road @ Port Augusta

After setting up and having to cancel last month, Show on the Road is making a return to Port Augusta. There will be rides, games and carnival food suited for all ages and appetites. Free entry, but it is a COVIDsafe event, limited capacity, first come, first serve. 10am to 6pm Saturday, 10am to 5pm Sunday.

Love and Laughter Tour

Tickle Belly Hill, Quorn, Flinders Ranges. Doors 5pm, showtime 6:30pm. Luke O'Shea and Lyn Bowtell performing live. Tickets via moshtix, none available at the door.

Port Augusta Garden Club Annual General Meeting

The Port Augusta Garden Club will be holding their next meeting on Wednesday September 15 at 2pm.There will be a show bench display, raffle, limited afternoon tea, plant auction and planning for the October Garden Show. All are welcome and membership are available on the day. Event will be held at corner Elizabeth Terr. and Paringa Road. Contact club secretary Shirley on 08 8642 4013 for more information.

Quorn Agricultural Show

The Quorn Agricultural Show is still on for this year, with sideshows, amusements, photography, cooking, plants and flowers, produce, art, needlework, jams, poultry and pigeons and horses-in-action. $10.00 Adult, $5.00 Concession, $2.00 School Age Children free under 5.
