Port Augusta City Council in its meeting this week will look at seeking clarification from the state government on the $22 million Marine Infrastructure upgrades.

The council's agenda proposed they will be "seeking information in respect to the proposed timing, planning and scope of works."

The announcement made last month included no timeline or specific plans for the project, but indicated that the state government would take input from the local community.
