A local Port Augusta man has lost his licence after being caught drink-driving more than four times over the legal limit.
At about 6.30 am on Wednesday October 13, police pulled over a white Toyota Prado on Agnes Street where the driver, a 36-year-old was breath tested and returned a positive result of 0.220.
His car registration was also expired.
The man was reported for drink driving and driving an unregistered motor vehicle and was issued with an immediate 12 month licence disqualification.
His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summoned to appear at the Port Augusta Magistrates Court at a later date.
