The Eyre Peninsula Local Government Tourism Group is encouraging visitors to be responsible this summer by adhering to rules and being considerate of others when in the region.
People are asked to camp in designated areas, stick to existing tracks and trails and to clean up after themselves as they explore the region.
They are also reminded to be aware of natural risks such as waves and cliff edges.
The call comes following a rise in visitation over the 2020-2021 summer season, with community feedback highlighting environmental and sustainability concerns.
Eyre Peninsula Tourism Development Manager Annabelle Hender said while most visitors want do the right thing, they just need to know what is expected of them.
"A few simple actions by visitors and locals alike ensures our communities remain harmonious and our environment pristine," she said.
